John Wood

John was born on March 22nd, 1841 in Whitburn.^1 2   John's father was Peter Wood and his mother was Janet Turner.  His maternal grandparents were James Turner and Jane White. He had two brothers and a sister, named James, James and Jean.  He was the oldest of the four children.
