Janet (Jessie) Baird Towers

Janet, known as Jessie, was born in 1884 in Saltcoats.¹²

Jessie's father was James Towers and her mother was Susan Munro. Her paternal grandparents were James Towers and Annabella Ferguson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, James, William, John, Annabella, Mary and Susan. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 68 in 1952 in Springburn.
