Margaret Thomson 
Margaret was born on February 25th, 1773 in Dunfermline and her baptism took place there on March 7th, 1773.1 Margaret's father was Robert Thomson and her mother was Janet Shipherd. Her paternal grandparents were James Thomson and Margaret Mudie; her maternal grandparents were William Shepherd and Margaret Tulloch. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Betty and Elspeth. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
