Rebecca Lowry Steen

Rebecca was born on September 22nd, 1870 in Raphoe.¹   Rebecca's father was Matthew Steen and her mother was Margaret Devenny.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Josiah Steen and Marjory Devinney; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Devenny and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Matthew, Samuel, Jane, Margaret and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died due to heart disease, chronic bronchitis, cardiac failure, at the age of 63 on November 9th, 1933 in Convoy.  She was buried.^2 3
