Hellen Shiperd

Hellen was born on February 6th, 1745 in Dunfermline and her baptism took place there on February 10th, 1745.¹   Hellen's father was William Shepherd and her mother was Margaret Tulloch.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Shepherd and Helen Donaldson; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Tulloch and Helen Hadston. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Patrick, William, Andrew, James, Andrew, John, Janet and Margaret.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
