Patrick Shepherd

Patrick was born on September 16th, 1728 in Dunfermline and his baptism took place there on September 23rd, 1728.¹

Patrick's father was William Shepherd and his mother was Margaret Tulloch. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Shepherd and Helen Donaldson; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Tulloch and Helen Hadston. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Andrew, James, Andrew, John, Janet, Margaret and Hellen. He was the oldest of the nine children.
