Irene's father was Alston Keith Rennie and her mother was Anna Maude Miller.  Her paternal grandparents were John McKichan Rennie and Angelet (Irene) Irene Coe Kennel. She had three sisters named Teresa, Anna and Emma.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-brother named Keith.  She died from a stroke, cerebrovascular accident (stroke), at the age of 90 on August 10th, 1994 in North Carolina.  The funeral took place on August 12th, 1994 in North Carolina.  She was buried on August 12th, 1994 in North Carolina.^3 4 5
