IRENE RENNIE BIGGERS Irene Rennie Biggers age 90 of Southminster Retirement Center Charlotte NC died Wednesday August 10, 1994. Mrs Biggers was born June 22 1904 in Selma. She was the widow of Howard R Biggers owner of Biggers Brothers Inc. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where she was a long time member of the Altar Guild. She was also member of Saint Mary's of the Hills Episcopal Church at Blowing Rock NC. She was a member of the DAR the Order of Eastern Star and the Charity League of Charlotte. Mrs Biggers was a Mlember of the original Board of Directors of the Charlotte Country Day School. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday August 12 1994 from the graveside at Forest Lawn Cemetery with The Reverend Fred W Paschall of Christ Episcopal Church officiating Surviving are her three children Howard R Biggers Jr Keith Rennie Biggers and Emma Carol Biggers Dabbs all of Charlotte NC grandchildren Lisa Michell Biggers Howard Randolph Biggers III Anne Biggers Furl Nan Dabbs Loftin Terry Dabbs Lewis Ginny Dabbs Touma and Carol Biggers Dabbs and seven great grandchildren In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to St Mary's of the Hills Episcopal Church PO Box 14 Blowing Rock NC 28605 Harry and Bryant Company is serving the family of Mrs Biggers.
