- Keith Rennie Biggers, age 88, was a son to the late Irene Rennie and Howard Randolph Biggers, Sr. He was also predeceased by an infant brother.
Rennie attended Charlotte Country Day School. He graduated from McCallie in Chattanooga, TN and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Rennie met his beloved wife of 64 years at Chapel Hill and married June 13, 1953 in Orangeburg, SC. He began his career in charge of the Hunter Air Force Base Commissary in Savannah, GA. He brought the first Christmas Tree lot to Savannah from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Rennie was an entrepreneur. His career following his military commission included the food business, restaurants, catering, tomato packaging. Then into real estate surveying, developing, buying, selling, converting, car wash and airport parking and air charter. Rennie surrounded himself with loyal, brilliant, honest partners. He loved water sports and sky activities. He was a pilot and a yachtsman. As an outdoor man, he loved hiking, biking, golfing and driving on road trips. He gave his time volunteering, mentoring, rescuing and instigating community well. He had amazing energy and keen awareness. Rennie never met a stranger.
