Catherine Reid

Catherine was born on February 23rd, 1802 in Ayr and her baptism took place on February 28th, 1802 in St. Quivox.

Catherine's father was Adam Reid and her mother was Catharine Fulton.  Her maternal grandparents were William Fulton and Jean Urie. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Adam, John, William, James, Alexander, Archibald, Jean, Marion, Elizabeth and Margaret.  She was the third youngest of the twelve children.
