Adam Reid

Adam was born on October 15th, 1788 in Newton-on-Ayr.

Adam's father was Adam Reid and his mother was Catharine Fulton.  His maternal grandparents were William Fulton and Jean Urie. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, John, William, James, Alexander, Archibald, Jean, Marion, Elizabeth, Catherine and Margaret.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
