Susan Paton 
Susan was born in 1836 in Corstorphine.1 2 Susan's father was James Paton and her mother was Henrietta Baxter. Her maternal grandparents were Ronald Baxter and Isabella Erskine. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George, James, Henriette and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the five children.-
