Margaret Nicol 
Margaret was born in 1843 in Ecclesmachan.1 2 Margaret's father was John Nichol and her mother was Julian (Julia) Johnston. Her maternal grandparents were John Johnston and Isabella Baxter. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Isabel and Janet. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 49 in 1892 in Dirleton.- Death Notes
