Elizabeth's father was Ebenezer Milner MD and her mother was Robina Culbertson Brash.  Her maternal grandparents were David Brash and Agnes Henderson. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Janet and Agnes.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 25 on May 4th, 1889 in Edinburgh.
