Ebenezer's father was Ebenezer Robertson Milner and his mother was Jane Ann Primrose. His paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Milner MD and Robina Culbertson Brash. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Lilian. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 66 on January 30th, 1946 in Sussex.
