William McLatchie 
William was born in 1831 in Cumnock.1 2 William's father was William McLatchie and his mother was Janet Dalzell. His paternal grandparents were Hugh McLatchie and Agnes Reid. He had three brothers and a sister, named Hugh, John, Robert and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 76 in 1907 in Ayr.-
