Margaret was born in 1856 in Australia. Margaret's father was Andrew Hall McCready and her mother was Janet McLatchie.  Her maternal grandparents were Hall McLatchie and Grace Mccallum. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Andrew, James, Grace, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 72 on July 30th, 1928 in New South Wales.
