Ann's father was Duncan Livingston and her mother was Anne Clarke.  Her maternal grandparents were James Clark and Janet Ross. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Duncan, Duncan, Janet, Jessie and Jessie.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 8 on November 10th, 1870 in Glasgow.
