Anne Clarke

Anne was born in 1830 in Nigg and her baptism took place there on May 4th, 1830.^1 2

  • This may be her, though no name is listed in the baptism record. Her 1841 census record implies born between 6-Jun-1828 and 6-Jun-1829 - if this is correct, then this is probaby a different child that died before 1841.

Anne's father was James Clark and her mother was Janet Ross.  Her maternal grandparents were James Ross and <Unknown>. She had a brother named Peter.  She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David, James, Jessie and Euphemia.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Pthysis, a long time, at the age of 36 on February 13th, 1866 in Glasgow.³
