Mary Laird 
Mary was born in 1848 in Paisley.1 Mary's father was William Laird and her mother was Mary Edward. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Edward and Helen Drummond. She had a brother and six sisters, named William, Helen, Elizabeth, Jane, Margaret, Robina and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
