Hugh Hay

Hugh was born in 1879 in St. Quivox.¹ Hugh's father was Thomas Hay and his mother was Mary Robertson. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Robertson and Elizabeth Armour. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William, Hugh, Agnes and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 12 in 1891 in Ayr.
