Eva was born on October 31st, 1909 in Castlefin.1  Eva's father was Robert John Gibson and her mother was Mary Ann Price.  Her paternal grandparents were John Gibson and Eliza Jane Wray. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named William, Samuel, Henry, George, Arthur, Ramsay, Campbell, Robert, John, Sophia and Margaret.  She was the second youngest of the twelve children.
