James Gibb 
James was born in 1862 in Edinburgh.1 James' father was John Cochrane Gibb and his mother was Marion Barclay. His paternal grandparents were George Gibb and Helen Cunningham. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, John, Lizzie and Helen. He was the second oldest of the five children.-
