Margaret's father was Archibald Galloway and her mother was Janet Galbraith.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Galloway and Helen McLauchlan. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Archibald, James, John, George, Mary, Ellen, Janet and Janet.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 1 on August 6th, 1869 in Falkirk.
