Mary Eaglesome Smith Frew (Froue) 
Mary was born on May 25th, 1844 in Newton-on-Ayr and her baptism took place on June 24th, 1844 in St. Quivox.1 Mary's father was John Frew and her mother was Janet Shaw. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Shaw and Jean Scoffield. She had two siblings of unknown gender. She was the youngest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named James, James, Thomas, William, Janet, Margaret, Jean and Shaw. She died due to a medical problem, Cerebral Haemorrhage, duration 3 days., at the age of 57 on September 1st, 1901 in Govan.2
