Catharen Cunningham

Catharen was born in 1720 in Dalmeny and her baptism took place on December 19th, 1720 in South Queensferry.¹   Catharen's father was Edward Cunninghame and her mother was Jannet Hill.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Cunninghame and Margaret Godrell; her maternal grandparents were John Hill and Jennet Bell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward, John, James, George, Margaret, Jannet, Hellen and Jean.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
