John Bone

John was born in 1821 in St. Quivox.¹   John's father was David Bone and his mother was Margaret Smith.  His paternal grandparents were James Bone and Janet Duncan. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, David, William, Alexander, Margaret and Elspeth.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 4 in 1825.¹
