Daniel Bone

Daniel was born in 1846 in St. Quivox.^1 2   Daniel's father was Thomas Bone and his mother was Janet Mcgrigor.  His paternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named David, Thomas, William, Thomas, Flora, Margaret and Janet.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 18 in 1864 in Ayr.
