Walter Baxter 
Walter was born in 1832 in Uphall.1 2 Walter's father was Robert Baxter and his mother was Barbara Miller. His paternal grandparents were Ronald Baxter and Isabella Erskine. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ronald, Robert, John, James, Elisabeth, Isabella, Isobel and Janet. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
