Isobel Baxter 
Isobel was born in 1834 in Uphall.1 2 Isobel's father was Robert Baxter and her mother was Barbara Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Ronald Baxter and Isabella Erskine. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Ronald, Robert, John, Walter, James, Elisabeth, Isabella and Janet. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
