Flora's father was Adam Aitken and her mother was Mary Ann Lafferty.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Lafferty and Margaret French. She had two sisters named Margaret and Jeanie.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 101 on March 17th, 2011 in Paisley.  The funeral took place on March 29th, 2011 in Paisley.  She was cremated on March 29th, 2011 in Paisley.^2 2
