Eliza was born in January 1891 in Kilbarchan.1 2  Eliza's father was Henry John Aitken and her mother was Eliza Stobo Rennie.  Her maternal grandparents were James Rennie and Catherine (Kate) Stobo. She had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Kate and Isabella.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 1 on May 26th, 1892 in Largs.  She was buried in Glasgow.3 2
