Richard Tankersley

Richard was born on March 13th, 1738 in Caroline Co., Virginia. Richard's father was Richard Tankersley and his mother was Elizabeth Fountain. His paternal grandparents were Richard Tankersley and Margaret Rowland; his maternal grandparents were James Fountain and Lucretia Desjarrie. He had three brothers named Rowland, George Edward and William. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 72 in 1810 in Rockbridge County, Virginia.
