John Champe Taliaferro

John Champe was born in 1784. John Champe's father was Nicholas of Totterdown Hill Taliaferro and his mother was Ann Taliaferro. His paternal grandparents were Hay Taliaferro and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Col John of Dissington Taliaferro and Ann. He had three brothers and a sister, named Mary Willis, George Catlett, William Thornton and Matilda Battaile. He was the oldest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Carr Blasingame, Lawrence Washington, James Hay, Nicholas, Marshall Howe and Ann Patterson. He died at the age of 27 in 1811.
