Col Andrew Swearingen

Andrew was born on February 17th, 1747 in Shepherdstown, VA. Andrew's father is Thomas Swearingen and his mother is Sarah Morgan. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Van Swearingen and Lydia Jane Riley; his maternal grandparents are Richard Morgan and Jane Taylor. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas, Van, Joseph, Benoni and Drucilla. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 77 on June 26th, 1824 in Chartiers Creek, Washington Co., Pa.
