Thomas was born in 1693 in King George Co. VA.  Thomas' father was Humphrey Quesinberry and his mother was Elizabeth Mothershead.  His paternal grandparents were John Quesinberry and Anne Pope; his maternal grandparents are John Mothershead and Elizabeth Bachelor. He had a brother and three sisters, named Jane, Anne, Bethlehem and Mary.  He was the oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers named Humphrey and Humphrey.
