Maria Thornton Carter Preston

Maria Thornton Carter was born on December 12th, 1805. Maria Thornton Carter's father was Gen. Francis Smith Preston and her mother was Sarah Buchanan Campbell. Her paternal grandparents were Col William Preston and Susannah Smith; her maternal grandparents were Gen. William Campbell and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William Campbell, 15 ch, William Campbell, Susan and Ann Sophonisba. She died at the age of 36 on October 18th, 1842.
