Zacheus born on a Mohawk Indian Reservation Marshall

Zacheus was born in 1753 in Onnaquaggy, New York. Zacheus' father was Daniel preached Carolinas and NY all over Marshall (DNA group 24) Sr and his mother was Martha Stearns. His paternal grandparents were Deacon Thomas Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Drake; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Abraham Abram, Moses, Solomon, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Levi, Lucy Eunice, Mary and Eunice. He had a half-brother named Daniel. He died at the age of 68 in 1821 in Columbia Co., GA.

  He was born on a Mohawk Indian Reservation in upstate New York, after his parents became missionaries. He became a farmer and minister in the Grovetown area of Columbia County. His daughter, Martha, married Robert Pollard, a native of Virginia who, it is said, joined the Marshall party comming into Georgia from South Carolina. The Pollards are still prominant in Columbia County life.
