Daniel preached Carolinas and NY all over was born in 1706. Daniel preached Carolinas and NY all over's father was Deacon Thomas Marshall and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Drake. His paternal grandparents were Capt Samuel Marshall and Mary Wilton; his maternal grandparents are Drake and Mary Wolcott. He had three brothers named Samuel, Thomas and John. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 78 on November 2nd, 1784.

  About 1753, Joseph and Priscilla Breed became closely associated with Daniel Marshall and his family. The Breeds and Marshalls decided to become missionaries to the Mohawk Indians in upstate New York.17 The Mohawks were a sometimes warlike tribe who had allied themselves with four other tribes to form the Iroquois nation.
