Hon Solomon Marshall

Solomon was born in 1763 in Stevens Creek, South Carolina. Solomon's father was Daniel preached Carolinas and NY all over Marshall (DNA group 24) Sr and his mother was Martha Stearns. His paternal grandparents were Deacon Thomas Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Drake; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Abraham Abram, Zacheus, Moses, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Levi, Lucy Eunice, Mary and Eunice. He had a half-brother named Daniel. He died at the age of 87 in 1850 in Ashley Co. Arkansas.

General Notes
- Led an interesting life. He was a large scale landowner in his home area and county official before moving to northern Alabama abt 1815, then to Miss., La, and Ark. before death. He was the family politician of the era, serving as a State Representative in Georgia, judge in Alabama, Mississippi, and elsewhere.
