Sarah was born on July 8th, 1819 in Hepburn Twp, Lycoming Co, PA.  Sarah's father was James Van Camp Marshall and her mother was Lavina Wilson.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Marshall II and Rachel Overfield. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James Van Camp, Elizabeth, Amelia and Elvira.  She was the fourth oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 81 on March 15th, 1901 in Hepburn Twp, Lycoming Co, PA.
