Elizabeth was born on June 18th, 1809 in Hepburn Twp, Lycoming Co, PA.  Elizabeth's father was James Van Camp Marshall and her mother was Lavina Wilson.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Marshall II and Rachel Overfield. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James Van Camp, Amelia, Sarah and Elvira.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 47 on December 4th, 1856 in Loyalsock, Lycoming, Pennsylvania.
