Reading Blount

Reading was born in 1757. Reading's father was Capt Jacob Blount and his mother was Barbara Gray. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Blount, Jr and Ann Elizabeth Reading; his maternal grandparents are John Gray and Ann Bryan. He had five brothers named William, John Gray, Thomas, Thomas and Jacob. He is the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named Wiley Wylie and Sharpe.
