Capt Thomas of Chowan Co Blount

Thomas was born about 1650 in England. Thomas' father was Capt James Blount and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Sir Walter Blount Knt and Elizabeth Wilde (Wylde); his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. James Blount and CLARE — presumed descendant of Gilbert de CLARE, Earl of Gloucester Clare was his grandfatheris his grandmother through his father's adoption. He had three brothers named John, James and others. He died on August 4th, 1706 in Hendricks Creek, Tyrrell Co., North Carolina.
