Thomas was born on October 18th, 1746 in Saint-Coulomb, Bretagne, France and his christening took place there on October 18th, 1746.  His godfather was Ollivier  BASLE.  Thomas' father was François BASLE and his mother was Julienne Nicole JAMET.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Anthoine JAMET and Janne PINOU. He had four brothers named Jean, Francois, Pierre and Méloir.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 27 on December 13th, 1773 in En Mer.
