Pierre was born on November 10th, 1754 in Saint-Coulomb, Bretagne, France and his christening took place there on November 11th, 1954.  His godfather was Pierre Michel.  Pierre's father was François BASLE and his mother was Julienne Nicole JAMET.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Anthoine JAMET and Janne PINOU. He had four brothers named Jean, Thomas, Francois and Méloir.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 20 on December 28th, 1774 in Saint-Coulomb, Bretagne, France.
