Martha Stratton 
Martha was born in 1680 in Burmuda Hundred, Chesterfield Co, Va. Martha's father was Edward Stratton II and her mother was Martha Shippey Jr. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Stratton I and Elizabeth Thurston; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Shippey II and Martha Browne. She had a brother and five sisters, named Edward, Mary, Elizabeth, Anne, Sarah and Prudence. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 54 in June 1734 in Chesterfield Co, Va. She was buried in Chesterfield Co, Va.-
