Elizabeth was born about 1691 in Henrico Co, VA. Elizabeth's father was Edward Stratton II and her mother was Martha Shippey Jr. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Stratton I and Elizabeth Thurston; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Shippey II and Martha Browne. She had a brother and five sisters, named Edward, Martha, Mary, Anne, Sarah and Prudence. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died in Henrico Co, Va. She was buried in Henrico Co, Va.-
