Mahala WHITAKER

Mahala was born about 1840. Mahala's father was William WHITAKER Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth STAPLER. Her maternal grandparents were John S. STAPLER and Ann NORMAN. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, William, James, Joseph L., Elijah, Robert, Nathan, Caroline Celina, Elisabeth and Nancy. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
