John Thomas Spears

John Thomas was born on January 9th, 1882 in Pointer Creek, Pulaski County, Kentucky. John Thomas' father was James William Spears and his mother was Isabella Spaw. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah "Ki" Spears and Catherine "Caty" Wesley; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Spaw and Frances "Fanny" Dick. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named George Riley, Hezekiah "Hessie", Albert Theodore "Bert", Rufus, James Hubert, William Catron, Banlow, Christopher Columbus, Fannie Catrin, Octolona, Mary Ellen, Sarah Martha and Rosetta. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 66 on January 11th, 1948 in Somerset, Kentucky.
